Verblio rebranded from BlogMutt in November 2018, but besides a few cosmetic changes, everything remained the same. Verblio gives clients access to a network of 3,000+ US-based writers for blogs, newsletters, press releases, and other web content services.
Writers
Writers need to be at least 18-year-old US citizens with exemplary grammar, strong research skills, an understanding of SEO and content marketing. Verblio writers serve over 40 industries such as accounting, cannabis, food and beverage, legal, and real estate.
Verblio hires only 5% of applicants. 23% of writers have at least a Master’s degree, including JDs, GCs, PhDs, and polyglots. Many writers are also HubSpot Inbound-certified
Services
Verblio connects marketing agencies and businesses to US-based content writers in both the U.S. and in 15 countries around the world.
Verblio writers write blog posts, newsletters, press releases, web content, white papers, ebooks, pillar content, content clusters, product descriptions, and create videos. Verblio writers do NOT create social media posts, case studies, email campaigns, HR manuals, Jumbotron text, or term papers.
How it works
Verblio gives clients the freedom to create custom, monthly plans based on four different steps.
The first step is based on choosing word length based on five different default word-length options. Only elite writers work on pieces with +1,500 words. Elite writers are the top 10% most experienced writers in the Verblio system.
- 300 words at $34.95 per piece
- 600 words at $69.95 per piece
- 1,000 words at $119.95 per piece
- 1,500 words at $224.95 per piece
- 2,000 words at $359.95 per piece
The second step lets clients choose the number of content pieces they want every month.
In the third step, clients can add optional services to supplement the first basic option on any requested topic. For +$19.95, clients can add a hand-picked stock photo per content piece. For +$39.95, clients can add a hand-picked stock photo per content piece, back-end SEO optimization, 2x proofreading, and CMS formatting and publishing. For +$149.95, Verblio gives clients access to a dedicated account manager, ongoing content strategy, and all the features above.
The fourth step lets clients choose if they want to pay monthly or annual. A discount is available for yearly plans (12 months for the price of 10).

This writing service may offer refunds, but we're not sure.
Verblio will provide a refund of fees paid for the Service if all of the following are true:
(a) You cancel your Account within 30 days of registration;
(b) You have not selected any Content Posts in any manner;
(c) You request a refund within 30 days of registering your Account;
(d) You have not previously cancelled an Account;
(e) You have not used the Service under any other Account during the 30 days preceding your request for a refund; and
(f) You have not incurred additional charges from Verblio beyond initial payment of fees.
